Every nerve message that controls your movement and you thoughts has to start from somewhere. Do you know what produces nerve messages?
Hint – it’s not your brain.
The brain is a processing centre. It makes sense of the nerve signals that come from our senses. This is called AFFERENT INPUT.
Most nerve messages start in the muscles and the teeth, others come from our eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin (touch). If we want to have a healthy nerve system, we have to pay attention to the messages that feed our nervous system
Simon King wrote a book about those messages and how to look after them.
It’s called Live Without Pain: A New Theory ON What’s Wrong With You and How to Fix it.
He recently put it online so you can read it for free.
