Ear Haven provides professional ear wax removal at Naturality Wellness Centre in Berkhamsted, using two safe and effective methods: microsuction and water irrigation.
Every appointment begins with an examination of the ears to check for wax and assess the health of the ear canal.
If wax is present and suitable for removal, it can usually be removed during the same appointment.
Microsuction uses a small suction device to gently remove ear wax from the ear canal. It is a precise and controlled method and does not require water to be introduced into the ear.
Water irrigation uses a gentle flow of body-temperature water to help flush suitable ear wax from the ear canal.
The most appropriate method will be discussed with you following your ear examination.
£80 – Ear wax removal in one or two ears
£40 – Ear assessment if no wax is present
Please use olive oil drops or spray in the ears for 5–7 days before your appointment to help soften the wax.
Occasionally, wax may not be suitable for removal or further assessment may be required. In these circumstances, onward referral to your GP or ENT may be recommended.
