Manual Lymphatic Drainage

This is a relaxing, full body treatment aimed at encouraging the lymph system to effectively drain, to reduce swelling and promote detoxification. The lymph nodes are stimulated through gentle circular movements followed by light, sweeping strokes on dry skin, to stimulate the lymph system. This follows with sweeping back towards the heart to move the lymph to the major nodes for draining. At points it can be effective to introduce body brushing.

The lymph system removes bacteria and toxins and it is important to keep it working efficiently through movement and hydration. However, sometimes it needs a little help. This treatment is fantastic to reduce swelling, water retention and feelings of bloat and sluggishness.
