Catherine is a qualified counsellor with experience in working with anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, depression, bereavement and loss, and substance misuse and addictions.
I am a person-centred counsellor/psychotherapist and have been in practice since 1992. I work to the Ethical Framework of the BACP, The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and, as with all counsellors, I receive supervision to ensure my work is ethical.
I am a fully qualified and accredited practitioner with twenty-five years experience of helping people. I have qualifications in both counselling and psychotherapy. I take my work and my client’s welfare very seriously.
I am trained in the Person Centred Approach, a gentle way of working, which aims to help you harness your inner wisdom so that you can heal, grow, and find a more deeply satisfying way of living. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and adhere to their Code of Ethics.
